If you are like me, you will be sick of hearing the daily doom and gloom about the Australian, and world-wide economy. From the feedback I have had from our customer base, it has been a real mix bag. Some clients are still as busy as ever and can't understand what all the fuss is about. Some clients are feeling the pinch a bit, but most are upbeat and determined to stay sucessful and viable. The importance of marketing has been well publicised in the media by business groups and commentators alike. They say that an easy thing to do is slash marketing spending to "save" some money, which can lead to dire consequenses for your company in the future. As a provider of Marketing Products, it is of course natural that I would want to promote the push of Marketing as a whole. Although this is the case, I have been in this industry long enough to see the benefits of promotional products for our ever growing customer base. Many times I have gotten feedback like "you should have seen their face when I gave it to them" or "I didn't think something like this would have such a positive affect!" It is funny to think that such a basic thing as a plastic pen or baseball cap can lead to extra business, referalls and greater loyalty amongst your customer base. As things get tighter, the importance of personal marketing that promotional products provide can be vital. Many of your competitors are doing all they can to win more business, including some of your customers! Little touches like the occasional thank you gift can go a lot further than you think.....
